On February 5th, at the picturesque Terry Hill Golf Club in Sydney, the New South Wales Chapter of the Queensland Golf Association successfully hosted its 2025 Opening Tournament and New Member Welcome Event. This grand event, blending competition and social interaction, not only heralded the upcoming new season but also witnessed the thriving new atmosphere of the Queensland golf community.
In his address, Ken Peng, President of the New South Wales Chapter, stated that since its establishment in June 2024, the New South Wales Chapter has consistently upheld professionalism and an open attitude, showcasing its dedication and professionalism to a wider audience through meticulously planned series of tournaments. Over the past six months, the number of members at the New South Wales Chapter has grown rapidly, which is not only a recognition of our operational capabilities but also a recognition of our responsibility to promote the development of golf among the Chinese community in Australia.

At 1 p.m. that day, 16 players gathered at the tee box to compete in the four-person team points tournament. Under the clear skies of early autumn in the Southern Hemisphere, after five and a half hours of intense competition, the team composed of Lily, Li Zhang, Rohie, and Xueyuan Ren won the championship with their outstanding performance.
