This grand event brought together nearly a hundred golf enthusiasts from diverse cultural backgrounds and prominent figures from all walks of life, witnessing Kunlun's growth over the past year. The highlights of Kunlun's journey in 2023 will be presented to the guests at the gala dinner, unfolding the golfing tapestry Kunlun has created this year.
At 6:30 PM, the banquet officially began. Mr. Li Jinsong, Director of the Kunlun Golf Association, and Ms. Xu Lin, Deputy Secretary-General of the Fujian Chamber of Commerce, hosted the banquet. After brief opening remarks, the first segment of the banquet commenced.Mr. Mike Meng, the current rotating president of the Queensland Golf Association of Australia, delivered a summary speech for 2023.。
In his address, Mr. Mike Meng first expressed his deep gratitude to Kunlun's members, sponsors, volunteers, board members, and their families for their high regard and support of Kunlun's work. He reviewed Kunlun's efforts over the past year in areas such as tournament organization, community building, golf academy development, and interstate expansion, while acknowledging shortcomings and proposing directions for future improvement. Mike also expressed his expectation that Kunlun will continue to contribute to the Chinese community in the future.
After his speech, Mr. Mike Meng once again thanked the sponsors who have given Kunlun their selfless help, and presented exquisite sponsor commemorative certificates to the sponsor representatives on the spot.

We continuously learn and adjust, hoping to become a golf guide for more Chinese friends with the lowest possible entry barrier. In 2024, Kunlun launched a brand-new course, and the first batch of four students successfully graduated. Mr. Chen Hai, the operations director of Kunlun Golf Academy, presented certificates to the graduates, marking the beginning of a new year for Kunlun Golf Academy and a legacy for the entire golf community!"

The establishment of the Victorian chapter initiated interstate exchanges between South Australia and Victorian golf, with the Kunlun Interstate Challenge being a highlight of these exchanges. The inaugural Kunlun Interstate Challenge concluded successfully on February 28th and 29th. The competition adopted a Ryder Cup-like format, with 16 players from both sides competing in two match play sessions over two days. Ultimately, the South Australian team, after a draw on the first day, suddenly collapsed and suffered a complete defeat on the second day. In three of the matches, the South Australian team, leading by three holes in the final four, was overtaken by their opponents winning four consecutive holes, demonstrating the Victorian team's exceptional skill and mental fortitude.Ultimately, the Victorian team proved superior and won the inaugural Kunlun Interstate Challenge!
Ms. Coco, President of the Victorian Chapter of the Kunlun Golf Association, accepted the award on behalf of the Victorian team and delivered a speech. This grand banquet was specially arrangedCharity auctionThis attracted considerable attention. Kelvin Wei generously donated four exquisite Penfolds wines for auction, with a portion of the proceeds supporting Kunlun's development and another portion donated to the Australian Golf Foundation to help economically disadvantaged girls realize their golf dreams. The guests responded enthusiastically, and the auction was exceptionally lively.
