Visiting the Club | "Huixin Capital Cup" Kunlun Golf New South Wales Branch Inaugural Tournament

On June 6, 2024, a day considered auspicious and prosperous, the inaugural tournament of the New South Wales branch of the Queensland Golf Association of Australia kicked off at the beautiful Sydney Concord Golf Club, ranked 42nd in Australia, accompanied by the popping of 10 colored balls.

This tournament was organized and sponsored by Ken Peng, CEO of Vestyn Capital, in conjunction with the Fujian General Chamber of Commerce's "Visiting Enterprises" initiative, and assisted by the Kunlun Golf Association. It received generous sponsorship from numerous business figures in Sydney and enthusiastic participation from golfers. A delegation of four from the Kunlun Golf Association Australia, including directors Jeff, James, and Rick, along with Coco Chen, president of the Victorian chapter, and a group of four golfers, also gathered in Sydney to celebrate the event.

The rainy season in Sydney couldn't dampen the enthusiasm of golfers. All 72 players teed off simultaneously from their tees, with new and experienced golfers meeting and getting to know each other on the course. They enjoyed the game, showcasing their skills amidst laughter and the beautiful green scenery. Although the torrential rain hindered the players' rounds, nearly half of them completed the course, demonstrating the indomitable spirit of golfers.

At the post-tournament awards banquet, Mr. Peng from Huixin Capital delivered a speech, expressing gratitude for the support of the former New South Wales Minister for Sport, the generous sponsorship of all sponsors, and the active participation of golfers. James Zhan, the first president of the Australian Kunlun Golf Association, shared the history and initial goals of the association, while current president Jeff Wang introduced Kunlun's development vision and future direction. The three then jointly announced the official establishment of the New South Wales branch of the Australian Kunlun Golf Association.

In today's competition, the female winners proved to be just as capable as the male winners, demonstrating even greater resilience in the face of wind and rain. Congratulations to Claire Zhang for winning both the overall championship and the Stableford total score in the AB group with an outstanding score of 84.

Congratulations to Lily Min, the overall champion of Group C (Stableford)!

The longest distance award in the men's category was won by near-professional Wang Lu with an absolute advantage of 300 yards.

The longest distance award in the women's category was won by Lily Min, the overall champion of Group C.

The recent pin NTP award (hole 6) and the recent pin NTP award (hole 14) were won by Sophie Zhang and Nancy Zheng, respectively.

Congratulations to the above players for completing the competition and achieving such excellent results under the challenging conditions of wind and rain.

The resounding success of this event would not have been possible without the hard work of Mr. Peng from Vestyn Capital and all the organizers, including CiCi and Tanya, as well as the strong support from all the sponsors (Huijin International, RSM Australia, Pancific Legal, Fiona Xing, H&C Top Beauty Clinic, Anjie Australia, Fortis Accounting Partners, and Hancheng Qiu). We would like to express our sincere gratitude once again!

We look forward to the next Kunlun New South Wales Season and State Team Championships, which will allow Kunlun's events to flourish in major Australian cities.
